Through the generous
contributions of corporations and individuals, the Wabash Valley
Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has been
able to provide resources, close to home, for breast cancer patients
and families in the Wabash Valley.
Up to 75 percent of the net money raised by the Affiliate is used
to support local grants. At least 25 percent of the net revenue
is remitted to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Award
and Research Grant Program. Through this support, and the support
of the entire Komen Affiliate Network, Komen offers one of the country’s
most innovative and responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.

make a difference in our tomorrows.
The Komen Wabash Valley Affiliate is currently offering grants for innovative programs that reduce breast cancer mortality, especially among those who are disproportionately affected by this disease. Application instructions and forms are provided below. Applications must be received on or before March 5, 2009. No late submissions will be accepted.
