race for the cure®

race details

Race Events
You may participate in one of four ways.

1. Competitive 5K Run/Walk – Sanctioned by USA Track and Field
2. Non-competitive 5K Run/Walk – For fun and exercise
3. Celebration Walk – Approximately 1-mile walk
4. Sleep In for the Cure® – No race at all. Support Race for the Cure®, but do not attend

Competitive Divisions (both female and male): 14 years and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Ribbons are awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers in each division. No awards will be given for the 1-mile Celebration Walk or the 5K Non-Competitive Event.Race

Cancellation
The Komen Wabash Valley Race for the Cure® will occur rain or shine. Cancellation will occur only due to extreme circumstances, in which case there will not be any refunds and your payment will be used as a donation to the Komen Wabash Valley Affiliate.

Limitations
Insurance restrictions require that headsets, roller blades/in-line skates and pets must be excluded and are not allowed on the course.

Course
Both the Celebration Walk and 5K Run/Walk are loop courses on the paved and gravel roads around Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

The Komen Wabash Valley Race for the Cure® course is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field. The certification number is IN 97008 MW.
